For many of us, a Swatch watch would have been our first watch and I am delighted to know that they are still going strong and at the forefront of watch fashion!
It was an early morning bloggers meeting and a delicious, healthy breakfast was served, followed by the chance to browse the collections. The shop itself is incredibly colourful and fun as one would expect and the staff are super friendly and helpful. There really is something for everyone! Whether you like colourful and overstated like me or discreet and understated, you will find something that you will love at the Swatch store.
We were treated to a preview of the Christmas collection, which was a real treat. You can expect lots of glitter and animal themes – especially cats! We were also given a little information on best sellers in different countries and I was very disappointed to learn that in the Uk the most popular watches are black! Come on guys, get some colour in your life!
I was really impressed with sunglasses. The fronts are interchangeable so you don’t have to buy all the sunglasses separately.
They even have a pair called the Eyes of Susan – they have to be mine yes?
I was asked to choose a watch to take home and, boy, was that a difficult decision. I really believe that watches are accessories and I would rather have lots of watches in different colour than just one that went with everything. So I went all out and chose this amazing Pop watch in red and yellow. This watch has my Style Personality all over it! You can pop out the watch and wear it as a badge or a pendant if you like. How cool is that? I love wearing my Pop Swatch, it is really eye catching and has received lots of compliments already.
Most people order online these days. But I do strongly recommend that you pay a visit to the Swatch shop at Manchester Arndale. You really need to touch, feel, pick up and try the watches to get an idea of size and how they look. You won’t regret it!
A huge thank you to Swatch, Manchester Arndale and Cubed Thinking for the invite.
