SS2014 Light

If you have light blonde hair like Cate Blanchett this is for you!

As you have delicate colouring, to create balance and harmony you should steer clear of dark colours and stick with light, pastely colours – they will be the most flattering for you!

I have based my outfit around this gorgeous Somerset by Alice Temperley Organza Skater Skirt from John Lewis. Longer, A line, lady like skirts are very on trend this Spring/Summer 2014. This directional design is cut in a simple, yet stylish, flared style with pleat detailing throughout for a smooth and sleek silhouette. The biker jacket this year has been given a stylish twist with this feminine, lace lapel. Plus denim is one of THE biggest fashion trends right now. This collarless style features asymmetric stitching at the shoulders and blingy crystal shoulder lapels. Beware of shoulder details if you have broad shoulders as this will only emphasise them. It will work just as well layered over jeans and a vest top. The sweet, powder blue jumper from Debenhams will be a great investment piece for your wardrobe as it will mix and match with everything.

Monochrome stripes and pointy flats are two trends rolled into one and these Gap ones are a bargain at £22.99. Keep your look pretty and feminine with this retro inspired baby pink bag from ASOS. Pile on the bling with a statement necklace and layers of bangles and you are done!

  • Sunny Side Up August 3, 2017
KEEP IT SUNNY SIDE UP THIS HOLIDAY SEASON Well, the weather certainly isn’t sunny in Manchester right now but if you can’t have the sunshine, you can BE the sunshine! Yellow, the colour associated with all things happy and bright, is often viewed as a ‘tricky’ shade to wear. It is certainly true that yellow... […]
